Wisteria bonsai are prized amongst the bonsai community due their beauty while in flower and are seldom found. Here we have Wisteria Frutescens ‘Amethyst Falls’, which is a more compact variety. Planted in the open ground they can reach a height of 5m but make fantastic and very decorative bonsai trees.
A fabulous bloom of highly fragrant, cascading purple flowers are produced between May and June with the possibility of a reduced second flowering in late summer.
