More recognisable as a plumbers tool, these adjustable pliers find themselves useful for bonsai and are commonly used in Japanese bonsai nurseries for bending and shaping. Opening the jaws and placing them over the wire on either side of a bend, they are used to create tight bends in thin material. They can also be used to grab wire and apply more leverage when bending a branch or trunk, much like angled Jin Pliers.
