Professional annealed copper bonsai wire supplied in a 500g roll is used for training, shaping, defining and refining your bonsai tree.
Copper bonsai wire is the preferred choice of bonsai professionals when wiring coniferous species. You would typically choose a wire diameter that is a quarter of the size of the branch or trunk that you are attempting to bend. This being half the diameter of the aluminium bonsai wire that would be used, making the wire less visible on the finished tree and more suitable for when bonsai trees are displayed.
Do please note that copper wire is more difficult to reposition than aluminium wire and therefore not recommended for beginners.
